Pets and appearance

Open an agent’s profile to choose its appearance. The contact’s identity and credentials remain the same when its artwork changes.

Built-in appearances

Blob, Fold, Ribbon, and Wave are built-in styles. Blob supports silhouette and eye controls; colors and available shape settings belong to the contact. Appearance motion respects Reduce Motion and pauses when the app is inactive.

The website uses Suzo’s bundled Blobatar and Fold artwork in its previews. Demo contacts and panel values are fictional; these are browser illustrations of app behavior, not recordings of a live call.

Images

Import PNG, JPEG, or WebP. PNG transparency is preserved. Image framing can be circle, rounded, or square. The service normalizes and bounds media before storing it privately.

An agent may change only its own contact, and only when asked. set_appearance accepts a direct HTTPS asset URL, or an assetID after an authenticated private upload.

Animated pets

Suzo imports compatible v1 and v2 sprite sheets and data-only pet.json manifests. Sheets are transparent PNG/WebP, 1536 pixels wide, with an 8 × 9 or 8 × 11 grid of 192 × 208 cells.

Standard animation rows use contiguous nonempty frames from the left; v2 look rows require eight directions. Suzo detects existing community frame counts. Import compatibility is not creation-quality certification.

User-managed libraries retain creator attribution and source URLs. A catalog’s software license does not license every submitted pet; check the individual artwork’s terms before sharing it. Pet imports do not run executable code.

Change through MCP

When requested, an agent can use set_appearance:

{
  "style":"Blob",
  "colorHex":"#B8DB68",
  "silhouette":"organic"
}

For a pet use style: "Pet", a compatible assetURL, and creator attribution. See the agent guide for private uploads and the complete appearance contract. These tools grant no access to other contacts or provider keys.
